Started back in 2003 as just an idea, Eko Atlantic is now an ongoing project rising from the coastline of Lagos, Nigeria. It is known for being an eco-friendly city which is helping boost the Lagos economy and provide businesses and employment opportunities for many of the country’s youth and investors.

Creating this luxurious haven involved many steps, among them the most major, which was dredging the ocean to create and reclaim land for real estate use. This entailed around 140 million tons of sand, making it the largest land reclamation in the world!
