According to Temitope Oshikoya, CEO of Nextnomics, Nigeria could make a huge leap to 14th in the world economies’ ranking, by 2050. This means Nigeria would be moving up a whopping eight places, alongside successes by countries like the Philippines and Vietnam.
Oshikoya insisted on the idea that in order to achieve this leap by the year 2050, Nigeria needs stable politics, demographics, productivity, investment, industrial value chain, and trade with emerging economies.
