The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon took place on February 10, 2018 with the finish at the Eko Atlantic city. This event has become a nation-wide and internationally recognized event, bringing thousands of visitors, including runners, officials of IAAF, and athlete managers.
The full marathon started at the National Stadium and ended at Eko Atlantic City, at 6:30 am, while the 10Km road races, started at the Lekki end of Ikoyi-Lekki Bridge and ended at Eko Atlantic City, at 8:30 am.
