On March 30, 2018 President Muhammadu Buhari visited Eko Atlantic City and inspected it, claiming it has boosted job creation and revenue generation in Lagos.
President Buhari was said to be extremely impressed by the development. Eko Atlantic City aims to solve the shortage of real estate. It also aims to provide new jobs and opportunities, especially in the new wave of business, technology, and innovation.
“The city is capable of handling big business and investment throughout Africa. I am truly impressed with what it is capable of bringing,” said President Buhari.
